A Laquon Treadwell trade is something the Minnesota Vikings are reportedly looking for, so which trade partners would make sense for Rick Spielman’s club?

The Minnesota Vikings were sure to showcase wide receiver Laquon Treadwell on Sunday night as they took on the Seattle Seahawks. He was the team’s leading pass-catcher as he hauled in all four of his targets for 47 yards on the night. On the surface, that might look like a good sign for a player that has widely been considered a first-round bust to this point in his career.

However, the more likely case is that the Vikings are putting Treadwell on display to try and make a trade happen. Head coach Mike Zimmer actually said as much after Sunday’s game, which comes on the heels of The MMQB’s Albert Breer’s report that Minnesota is looking to trade the wide receiver.

Since the Vikings selected Treadwell with the 23rd overall pick in the 2016 NFL Draft, the Ole Miss product has underwhelmed time and again. His 35 catches for 305 yards and one touchdown were all career-highs for the wide receiver, which doesn’t say much. It’s also a big reason why Minnesota elected not to pick up his fifth-year option.

Having said that, the big-bodied pass-catcher has clearly progressed from being a downright debacle in his first two seasons. Furthermore, the physical tools that led to Treadwell being a first-round selection are still present. As of now, though, he’s worth more to the Vikings as a trade chip than anything else.

With that in mind, there are likely going to be some takers for a possible deal to be made. So then, we’re going to look at three potential Laquon Treadwell trade partners that the Vikings could call up and make a pact with.
