Packers vs. Raiders, NFL Preseason Week 3: How to watch
Will Antonio Brown play is the question Oakland Raiders fans want to know against the Green Bay Packers in Canada. Here’s how you can watch.
For the first time since 2013, the NFL will be back in Canada as two of the league’s biggest franchises, the Oakland Raiders and Green Bay Packers, square off at IG Field on Thursday night in Week 3 of the 2019 NFL preseason. Not only do the Canadian fans get football but they get a matchup filled to the brim with excitement and buzz.
Antonio Brown is back at practice for the Raiders and made the trip with the team to Canada. With his feet issues and helmet problems hopefully at least close to the rearview, Jon Gruden has to hope to see him on the field for this game. Even still, seeing what Derek Carr, rookies Clelin Ferrell, Josh Jacobs and Johnathan Abram, and the rest of the silver and black have to offer should be fun.
There’s no word yet either on if we’ll see Aaron Rodgers take the field for the Packers. You’d have to expect that we might, though. After all, new head coach Matt LaFleur needs some live-action looks at his superstar quarterback and this will give him some opportunity for that.
This NFL return to Canada can be seen on local networks in Oakland and Green Bay. However, out-of-market fans yearning for preseason football can catch the game via NFL Game Pass, available through a paid subscription but also with the service offering a free trial for new users. Another option for fans is FuboTV, also a subscription service and with a free trial too.
