Panthers vs. Patriots, NFL Preseason Week 3: How to watch
The New England Patriots welcome the Carolina Panthers to town for the dress rehearsal in Week 3 of the preseason. Here’s all the info on how to watch.
Coming off another Super Bowl win, the New England Patriots are seemingly humming once again. Now in Week 3 of the 2019 NFL preseason, the Pats may give fans their first look at Tom Brady since the Big Game. On Thursday night, New England will host Cam Newton’s Carolina Panthers at Gillette Stadium
While we may see Brady for the Patriots, don’t expect to see much of him. However, the story for New England in the preseason has been their standout rookies. Quarterback Jarrett Stidham has been highly impressive, as has undrafted rookie receiver Jakobi Meyers and third-round running back Damien Harris. Look for those guys to show out again.
As for the Panthers, we don’t know if we’ll get to see Newton just yet in this game as he continues to recover from offseason surgery and makes his way back onto the field. Even still, we could catch glimpses of Christian McCaffrey and will continue to get looks at rookie Brian Burns, who has been fantastic on defense so far in the preseason.
Fans can tune into this game on local cable networks for the respective markets. However, those out-of-market people that still want to watch can do so through NFL Game Pass. The service is available via a paid subscription but is offering a 7-day free trial to new users. Meanwhile, FuboTV is another streaming option and is also giving a free trial to new subscribers.

For the most part, the Patriots know what they are, as do the Panthers. However, as both teams look for rookies to step up and garner experience and as they also look to refine their depth chart, Thursday night’s game should be fun to watch. Plenty could still be decided in Week 3 of the preseason.
