Ravens vs. Eagles, NFL Preseason Week 3: How to watch
The Philadelphia Eagles aim to sort out their quarterback depth as they welcome the Baltimore Ravens in Week 3 of the preseason. Here’s how to watch.
Misfortune certainly struck the Philadelphia Eagles quarterback room in the preseason. No, Carson Wentz is fine but the backup situation got complicated. On Thursday, they’ll welcome Lamar Jackson and the Baltimore Ravens to Lincoln Financial Field as they try to sort that out in Week 3 of the 2019 NFL preseason.
Wentz isn’t likely to play for the Eagles on Thursday night as they try to keep their starter healthy. However, rookie Clayton Thorson and newly signed veteran Josh McCown will get their reps at the position. It’ll be interesting to see who performs better in this moment, especially going up against an always-fierce Baltimore defense.
As for Jackson and the Ravens, everyone knows what the athletic quarterback brings to the table. But while this team is revamping their offense for their new franchise quarterback, fans want to see Jackson start taking steps forward as a passer. We’ll see if he’s shown any progression throughout this preseason in Week 3.
