It’s time to grade each team’s top rookie through three weeks of the 2019  NFL preseason with only one game to go.

With three games officially in the books for the 2019 NFL preseason, it’s crazy to believe the start of Week 1 is right around the corner. Normally, this time of year can be dreadful for some football fans wanting the real action to be underway in September, but also the preseason does have benefits to it.

Take a look at the rookies, for example, getting their first taste of NFL action, as every team has a handful of players looking to show they can in fact make an immediate impact right away.

What’s even more exciting is the rookies that happen to stand out when nobody expected them to at all, especially if a surprise opportunity presents itself.

As much as Dallas Cowboys fans don’t want to hear about Ezekiel Elliott’s absence from training camp and preseason, this could mean that someone like Tony Pollard will see extra carries as a result, and take advantage of the additional playing time.

Of course, Elliott could very well end up returning right before the start of Week 1 to make things a little more complicated, but at least Pollard has been showing off his skills in the preseason to provide the Cowboys with a backup plan just in case.

Does this mean Pollard deserves to be considered the top rookie performance on Dallas so far during the preseason?

Grading rookies after only three preseason games can seem a little difficult to do, but to help prepare for the upcoming 2019 season, here’s the top rookie from each team so far along with a grade to see where they stand.
