Cincinnati Bengals: Germaine Pratt

After three years in a row missing out on the playoffs, will the Cincinnati Bengals finally get back on track in 2019 now that Zac Taylor is on board as the head coach?

As bad as it sounds, the decision to move on from Marvin Lewis in the offseason was long overdue with the Bengals, and if all goes well with Taylor, Andy Dalton will hopefully see his game elevate to a whole new level.

Of course, an offense like Cincinnati’s can only do so much on their own without the proper support from the other side of the football as well, meaning the defense will need to come through on their end as well.

Plenty of key players for the Bengals on defense will need to step up in a big way, but also Cincinnati would love to see rookie Germaine Pratt waste little time making an immediate impact.

Thanks to a stellar career at NC State, the Bengals felt confident enough in using a third-round selection on Pratt this year to help fill a need at the linebacker position.

Most recently, Pratt recorded half a sack against the New York Giants, and while this may not seem like that big of a deal, it should make the Bengals quite happy to see.
