After finding success last season, there a few factors that could prevent the Chicago Bears from winning the Super Bowl in 2019.

Following the hiring of Matt Nagy as the team’s new head coach, some felt the Chicago Bears were capable of taking a step in the right direction in 2018 after spending a handful of years near the bottom of the NFL.

Well, the Bears took more than just a step last season. With Nagy leading the way, Chicago ended up with their highest win total since 2006 and their first NFC North title since 2010.

One could say that the Bears exceeded their expectations during their first season with their new head coach.

Unfortunately, Chicago’s year came to a close in the opening round of the playoffs thanks to Nick Foles and the Philadelphia Eagles. But the Bears’ 2018 campaign should still be deemed a success.

So how will Chicago respond this season? Will they continue to build on last year’s accomplishments or will they take a step back after overachieving in 2018?

Based on their performance last year, some believe that the Bears have the talent to capture their first Super Bowl win since 1985. Anything is possible (as they proved last season), but there are a few factors that could prevent Chicago from ending 2019 on top of the NFL.

So what are few of these obstacles that could prove to be too difficult for the Bears to overcome and win the Super Bowl during the upcoming season?
