2. Impressive completion percentage

First off, let the record show that if this were the regular season, Jones most likely wouldn’t have been able to finish with an 85 completion percentage.

Still, Jones deserves all of the credit in the world for completing 29 of 34 passes for 416 yards to go along with two touchdowns in New York’s four preseason games since this will clearly be a confidence booster.

As mentioned before, there were plenty of concerns from the Giants fan base over the last few months in regards to whether Jones was the right answer at quarterback from this year’s draft.

One preseason certainly won’t determine what kind of future Jones will have in New York since the rookie still has plenty of major questions to answer, but at least it’s a start.

By looking at this impressive completion percentage, this shows what kind of decision-making Jones is capable of, and hopefully that’s only going to continue improving with experience.

Assuming the Giants do whatever it takes to put their future quarterback in the best position possible with the proper offense moving forward, Jones has plenty of reasons to be excited about the future once the time comes for him to take over the duties on offense.
