Wide Receiver. Colorado. Laviska Shenault. 9. player. 52.

This offseason, the Jacksonville Jaguars made a big move to bring in quarterback Nick Foles who had hit free agency just two seasons after winning the Super Bowl with the Philadelphia Eagles. Near the end of the 2017 season, Foles took the place of an injured Carson Wentz who tore his ACL.

Foles then led the team on an unexpected run to the Super Bowl, where he won the MVP award while outdueling Tom Brady. His legend grew, even more, the following season when he again replaced an injured Wentz and won the final three games of the season. Foles revived a season that looked dead in the water and even won another playoff game thanks to a fourth-quarter game-winning drive.

Even with his success, Philadelphia decided they were better off with Wentz as the starter and allowed Foles to leave. Jacksonville pounced on the opportunity to sign him as he replaced former first-round pick Blake Bortles.

Now with Foles leading the offense, they feel much better about their prospects. Although, there are still questions as there’s no legitimate No. 1 wideout on the roster.

That leads to the selection of Laviska Shenault out of Colorado. Last season, Shenault broke out for 1,011 yards and six touchdowns. He had another touchdown in the team’s opener this season as he continues his push at being one of the best pass-catcher in the 2020 class. In Jacksonville, he could give them that big target they lacked after losing Allen Robinson in free agency a season ago.
