Entering the 2018 season, it seemed as though the big-name along the Alabama defensive line was going to be Raekwon Davis. At 6-foot-7 and 312-pounds, Davis looked to be their next huge star to go early in the draft. He was also coming in off a 69 tackle, 8.5 sack season.

Then as the year went on, Davis started to take a back seat to one of his teammates. Quinnen Williams emerged as a star and wound up going third overall to the New York Jets.

With him racking up all the sacks, Davis fell behind some and had just 1.5 sacks on the season. He did still record 55 tackles and was clearly good enough to land in the league, if he would have declared early.

Davis decided against that as he came back for his final season with the Tide as he looks to again become the hot-ticket item he once was. He got off to a quick start with six tackles in their first game but where he can really make his mark is if he can get after the quarterback the way he did in 2017.

In this mock, he finds a good home in the Minnesota Vikings, where he can work with a defensive-minded head coach in Mike Zimmer. He will fill in the empty space created when Sheldon Richardson left this year in free agency and will help the Vikings remain a dominant team up front on defense.
