A team that wins based on great defensive play saw a lot of turnover to that unit this offseason. C.J. Mosley, Za’Darius Smith, and Terrell Suggs all left the Baltimore Ravens and they need to start filling in these holes over the next few seasons.

In an effort to get stronger off the edge, they bring in Alabama’s Terrell Lewis, who has excellent size at 6-foot-5 and 252-pounds and already has experience in a 3-4 system. The problem is, he’s been battling health issues which have kept him from showing off all his skills.

If ha can stay in the field, there’s a good chance he goes early and the Ravens are a good fit. In fact, even before this season began, there were some who felt Lewis was a great fit for the Ravens as Ricard Bradshaw of Ebony Bird said he made since as a 2019 draft target if he would have declared early.

"“Terrell Lewis is a ridiculous talent that should have the entire NFL’s attention once he’s healthy. Coming off an ACL tear, Lewis may opt to return to Alabama for his senior season, and no one would blame him. However, should he declare and should the Ravens keep up their winning ways, Terrell Lewis could be the perfect pick in the middle-to-end of the first round of the 2019 NFL Draft.” — Bradshaw, Ebony Bird"

Lewis had three tackles and a sack in his debut game for the Crimson Tide. As long as he can keep getting after the quarterback, he will be a name to watch in the 2020 NFL Draft.
