It’s time to take a look at the NFL Power Rankings 2019 for Week 1, with the Kansas City Chiefs and New Orleans Saints starting off on top.

Week 1 is officially here, and that means after months of waiting, it’s finally time to take a deeper dive into the NFL Power Rankings 2019.

Even though the New England Patriots ended up winning the Super Bowl again, an argument can be made that Tom Brady and company aren’t the top team to beat at the beginning of September.

While there’s every reason to believe the Patriots will in fact end up being one of the favorites to make a run to play in Miami down the road, there are some teams that deserve to be considered better at the moment.

Take a look at the Kansas City Chiefs and New Orleans Saints for example, both of which could end up with two of the top offenses in the NFL for the upcoming season if all goes according to plan over these next few months.

Patrick Mahomes may have found a way to take home MVP honors during his first full year as the starter with the Chiefs, but also keep in mind that Drew Brees was in the running as well after looking at the impact made for the Saints.

Chances are, both of these players will end up finding their name in the conversation once again when the time comes since it’s unfair for some teams to consider the kind of weapons Mahomes and Brees are lucky enough to work with.

One of the best parts about this time of year is every team heads into Week 1 with the same record, and it’s always fun to debate over which teams deserve to be considered the best.

So without wasting anymore time, here are the NFL Power Rankings for Week 1 to help fans prepare for the upcoming action this weekend.
