While Dorsey is always capable to continue his trend of trading draft picks for established talent, the current, the Browns currently have eight draft picks in the upcoming 2020 NFL Draft. With the ninth-best odds to win the Super Bowl this preseason, the Browns were slated with the 23rd pick in the draft, the highest they have been since their resurgence into the NFL back in 1999.

The Browns do not have a fifth-round pick, as it was traded for Wyatt Teller and their second seventh-round pick to the Buffalo Bills, reflected in this draft. One of the two fourth-round picks came from the Houston Texans in exchange for disgruntled running back Duke Johnson.
