7.215: Glen Logan, IDL, LSU

The Browns acquired their second seventh-round pick in the trade for Wyatt Teller, where they surrendered a fifth-rounder for the guard and a seventh-rounder. Even though the Browns added Fotu in the third round of this draft, they return to the defensive line to add another player as a flier in the seventh round.

Here they grab Louisiana State’s Glen Logan with the hopes of finding a late-round diamond. Logan could be a defensive tackle who, while a bit raw with his skill set, has the potential to test off the charts athletically.

Entering his junior year for the LSU Tigers, Logan tallied three total tackles in their week one victory. In his first season seeing significant playing time in 2018, the 6-4 and 309-pound defensive tackle recorded four sacks and five tackles for loss playing along the LSU defensive line.

With a high motor, the Browns could find a potential practice squad stache and a player who could be molded to contribute to the team in the future. Given the lack of depth behind Ogunjobi and Richardson, as previously mentioned, it would not be a shock to see the Browns double dip at the defensive tackle spot in the 2020 draft.
