With the 2019 NFL season just around the corner, which teams will win their divisions and which teams could come up just short?

Predicting the future is a challenging thing to do. Yet, here we are trying to predict which NFL teams will win their divisions in the 2019 season

In the past 16 seasons, only once has there not been at least one team to win the division after finishing in last place the year prior. Additionally, there tends to be several new teams in the playoffs each year.

Since 2004, the lowest number of new teams in the postseason was four (in 2013 and 2016). What does this all mean? You can expect a lot of new faces in the 2019 NFL Playoffs. Funny enough, only one of our projected division winners missed the postseason in 2018.

With that said, anything can happen in the 2019 season. The projected NFC division winners seem stronger than the projected AFC winners, but who knows, maybe injuries pave the way for the Miami Dolphins to claim the AFC East crown!

Okay, the NFL isn’t that unpredictable, but as the 2019 NFL season approaches, see if you agree with which teams should rule their respective divisions.
