Fantasy football season finally begins as the NFL regular season gets underway and these are the best starts at each position to give your team an edge.

Master drafting can happen in many fantasy football leagues and you may not have a tough decision at who you plan to play or sit. But most leagues competitive, no matter how well you draft, which leads to needing to pick the right matchups so that you can get the biggest day possible out of your whole lineup.

As Week 1 is coming, it is a fresh start in fantasy with most players being fresh and ready to go with the first real action of the season. Some games can lead to shootouts while others can be real stinkers. The troubling part of Week 1 is all we can go off of are the performances from last season and limited preseason action.

With Aaron Rodgers and company facing the Chicago Bears this week, players like Marquez Valdes-Scantling and Aaron Jones may not be the hottest of starts while others like Rodgers and Davante Adams are layups.

Some of the best fantasy football matchups from a point-scoring basis will involve the Rams at Panthers, Giants at Cowboys and Texans at Saints, which will heavily be reflected in the forthcoming start recommendations. For those who stream quarterbacks and may be weak at the FLEX position, this will be important for you.

With that being said, let us dig in on the best starts for Week 1, having two of the best options at each position that will help get you a big win and start the season off well.

(Note: No studs like Saquon Barkley or DeAndre Hopkins will be involved as they are must-starts every single week.)
