Here are seven head coaches on the hot seat heading into NFL Week 1 of the 2019 season.

As crazy as it is to believe, NFL Week 1 for the 2019 season is finally here, as football fans have patiently been waiting months to see some meaningful action since training camp and preseason always takes forever.

Just like every other year, Week 1 tends to be a great feeling for each team since everyone starts off with a clean slate at 0-0, but also brings plenty of pressure for the head coaches already on the hot seat.

Whether it seems fair or not to be discussing certain coaches on the hot seat when an official game hasn’t even taken place yet, keep in mind that most of the ones discussed were most likely on the hot seat towards the end of last year, and fortunate enough to keep their jobs.

In other words, their respected teams most likely felt willing to give them another chance to prove themselves worthy in 2019, but also will be heavily scrutinized for each and every loss over the next few months.

If all goes well for some of these coaches, their teams will just out to a hot start in September, and waste little time proving they do in fact have what it takes to be a legitimate contenders.

But for others, if things go south early on, it’s only going to to continue to put on the extra pressure that nobody wants to deal with one bit.
