Home sweet home

On their home field last season, the Cowboys were almost unbeatable. Dallas won seven of their eight matchups inside AT&T Stadium last year with their lone loss coming to the Tennessee Titans in Week 9.

Thanks to playing at home, the Cowboys were able to get impressive victories over the New Orleans Saints, Philadelphia Eagles, and Seattle Seahawks in 2018. Last season was actually the second time in three years that Dallas has won at least seven of their eight home games.

So in comes the Giants this week, who have lost five of their last six road matchups with the Cowboys. With the current shape that New York’s roster appears to be in, it seems safe to assume that they won’t be picking up a win in Dallas on Sunday.

With this week’s game being the season opener, expect the Cowboys’ stadium to be packed full of rowdy Dallas fans. Optimism is still in the air for Cowboys fans and everyone will be excited to watch them try and demolish the Giants on Sunday.

Considering both teams are pretty healthy and this is a divisional matchup, there’s a good chance that this week’s game between Dallas and New York could come down to the final few drives. Even if this is the case though, it should still be the Cowboys who begin their season with a win.
