As far as prospects are concerned, there’s not much separation between Isaiah Simmons and his teammate, Travis Etienne. Simmons is a dynamic defensive presence that jumps off the screen when he’s on the field.

Over the course of his career, Simmons proved he’s a jack of all trades and a master at one, covering. The 6-3, 230-plus-pound linebacker is a matchup weapon. Teams looking for a backer that can lineup and play man-to-man wi;l find what they’re looking for in the Clemson standout.

Simmons is fluid in his movements as he does a great job flipping his hips and getting up the field. In zone coverage, he covers ground quickly and closes in on the ball. He has the speed to run with backs out of the backfield as well.
