Our NFL Power Rankings for Week 2 of the 2019 season have shifted as the Cleveland Browns hype train derailed and the New England Patriots landed Antonio Brown.
With the first weekend of action officially in the books, the NFL Power Rankings heading into Week 2 of the 2019 season certainly provide football fans with plenty to talk about.
Take a look at the New England Patriots for example, who were already considered one of the early favorites to make a run at the Super Bowl, and found a way to improve their offense by signing Antonio Brown following his release from the Oakland Raiders.
Football fans can say whatever they want about how much of a head case Brown has been since the end of last year between the Raiders and Pittsburgh Steelers, but talent wise, the wideout is a one of a kind talent.
Watching the Patriots crush the Pittsburgh Steelers the way they did on Sunday night without Brown, one can only imagine how terrifying this team is going to be to watch once the wideout is caught up to speed on his new team.
As for some of the other top contenders looking to make a run at the Super Bowl during the 2019 season, well the Cleveland Browns received a major wake-up call during their home opener against the Tennessee Titans after losing by 30 points.
If Baker Mayfield believed the pressure was already high in regards to the second-year quarterback helping the Browns live up to the hype, the youngster better figure out a way to turn things around heading into Week 2, or it’s going to be a long season.
The first weekend of meaningful football left fans plenty to discuss heading into Week 2, so to help recap all that went on, it’s time to jump on into the latest edition of NFL Power Rankings, starting with the Miami Dolphins.
