10. Green Bay Packers (14)

After missing out on the playoffs in each of the last two seasons, the Green Bay Packers realize the importance of putting that streak to an end in 2019 now that Matt LaFleur is on board calling the shots as the new head coach.

For their first true test of 2019, the Packers faced a difficult challenge by kicking off the new season on the road against the Chicago Bears.

Most of the time when a team only puts up 10 points like Green Bay did, it’s going to be difficult to win the tough games, but luckily the defense of the Packers stepped it up in a big way by holding Mitch Trubisky and the Bears’ offense to only scoring three points.

One game certainly doesn’t determine how the remainder of the year is going to be for the Packers, but this was the perfect way for Green Bay to make a statement about how this year could be different than the previous two seasons.

If Aaron Rodgers can manage to play at a MVP level, and the defense plays throughout the year like they did against the Bears, there’s every reason to believe the Packers will be a top contender in the NFC.

With a few extra days off, and a chance to start 2-0 in the division with a battle at home against the Minnesota Vikings in Week 2, it will be interesting to see if Green Bay can take advantage of the opportunity.
