2. Marquise Brown, Baltimore Ravens

ESPN Ownership Percentage: 28.2

Considering that he spent most of the offseason dealing with a heel injury, there was reason to be skeptical of Marquise Brown coming into the 2019 season. Those reasons all went away as Lamar Jackson and the Ravens torched the Dolphins on Sunday as Hollywood was one of the key players in the dismantling.

The rookie out of Oklahoma finished the day with four catches for 147 yards and two touchdowns, which amounts to 30.7 fantasy football points in PPR scoring. While you might not see that every week because Baltimore doesn’t play Miami every week, Brown is going to be a big-play threat and Jackson is a quarterback whose best skill is making the big play. Hollywood is here to stay.

1. Terry McLaurin, Washington Redskins

ESPN Ownership Percentage: 7.3

Someone in the Washington Redskins offense has to catch passes and there truly aren’t a lot of candidates. In Week 1, it was rookie Terry McLaurin that stepped up as the primary target for Case Keenum against the Eagles. The Ohio State product finished the contest with one heck of a fantasy football debut, registering five catches for 125 yards and a touchdown, good for 23.5 points in PPR scoring.

It’s always dangerous to bank on a largely unproven player who had a big debut. But again, the Redskins group of pass-catchers leaves a lot to be desired. And with McLaurin coming out of the gate so strongly, that bodes well for his prospects moving forward. He might not have the ceiling of Tyreek Hill but he should be able to provide solid production.
