3. Dan Quinn

Could 2019 be Dan Quinn’s final chance to prove himself worthy of being the head coach for the Atlanta Falcons?

As bad as it sounds, it’s been beyond frustrating to watch Quinn fail to take advantage of the talent the Falcons head coach has to work with on both sides of the football, especially on offense with Matt Ryan and Julio Jones.

After failing to earn a third trip in a row to the playoffs during the 2018 season, Quinn realizes the importance of making sure Atlanta starts off the new year on the right note, which unfortunately was far from the case in Week 1.

Putting up just 12 points on the road against the Minnesota Vikings was the last thing the Falcons expected to see happen in Week 1, and the team is about to face an even more difficult challenge with the Philadelphia Eagles coming to down for the Sunday night game.

Looking at the issues the Eagles are currently dealing with at cornerback, the Falcons could be at a major advantage if Ryan finds a way to get Jones the football as much as possible.

Claiming Week 2 as a must-win situation for Quinn could be viewed as a stretch, but also he can’t afford to drop to 0-2 on the early season.
