By Dan Parzych
Here are 20 bold predictions for football fans to consider heading into Week 2 of the NFL 2019 season.
If the first week of real action is any indication of what to expect for Week 2 of the NFL 2019 season, football fans should be in for a treat once again.
From the Tennessee Titans making a huge statement on the road by defeating the Cleveland Browns by 30 points to DeSean Jackson torching his former team in the Washington Redskins, last weekend left football fans with plenty to talk about.
This time around, the case should be similar since Week 2 is filled with plenty of great matchups, ranging from the Green Bay Packers taking on the Minnesota Vikings to young quarterbacks in Baker Mayfield and Sam Darnold squaring off against one another.
Not to mention, an intriguing battle within the AFC West taking place between the Oakland Raiders and Kansas City Chiefs could turn out to be one of the most exciting contests from the weekend.
While the Chiefs are coming off a big year in which they earned the No. 1 seed in the AFC playoff picture before falling to the New England Patriots, the Raiders look to turn things around after a disastrous 2018 campaign in which they won just four games.
Whether this game has what it takes to be one of the top contests in Week 2 will fall on the shoulders of Oakland to show what took place on Monday against the Denver Broncos wasn’t just a one-time thing, and they do have what it takes to be a playoff contender.
Along with what to expect from these division rivals, here are 20 bold predictions for football fans to take into consideration entering Week 2 of what has already been an exciting 2019 season.
