16. Murray sacked seven times

Never in a million years did Kyler Murray ever think his first career NFL start would result in a tie, but this was exactly the case for the Arizona Cardinals and Detroit Lions.

Like most rookie quarterbacks, Murray has plenty of areas in need of improvement before the youngster is on the level the Cardinals need him to be in order to compete in the NFC, but at least the early experience should pay off in a big way.

Moving on from Josh Rosen the way they did was a tough decision at the time for Arizona, but it’s better than wondering what could have been if the Cardinals decided to stick with their former quarterback while passing on Murray.

With all due respect to Rosen since it’s still too early to determine what kind of NFL career he’s going to be in for, Murray seems like he’s going to end up being the much better option.

Of course, just because Murray seems like he’s going to end up being the better quarterback doesn’t necessarily mean he won’t be dealing with some bumps along the road, including Sunday’s Week 2 battle with the Baltimore Ravens.

After watching what the Ravens were able to accomplish against the Miami Dolphins on defense this past Sunday, just imagine the kind of day the unit will have when facing Murray and the Cardinals.
