The Dallas Cowboys look to extend their hot start into the second week of the 2019 season. Here are five bold predictions for that game against the Washington Redskins.

There’s really no way the Dallas Cowboys could have had a better start to the 2019 season than the one they had. In Week 1 against the New York Giants, they were able to silence many of their doubters with some key performances out of their biggest stars.

The most notable was Dak Prescott, who has been criticized more than any other member of this team. A former fourth-round pick, Dak has led his team to more wins than anyone other than Tom Brady since 2016. However, it seems he gets none of the credit for that as people seem to praise the running game, offensive line, and anyone else who isn’t Prescott for the success.

On Sunday, there was no mistaking he was in charge. Prescott posted a perfect quarterback rating as he had 405 yards passing with four touchdowns and no picks. Of course, there’s someone else who may start to get some of the credit for what he did — Kellen Moore.

The first-year offensive coordinator had a stellar performance in his debut as the play-caller as the Boys won easily by a score of 35-17. Moore showed a great understanding of his players and put them in a position to succeed.

He seemed to understand Prescott’s strengths more than previous coordinator, Scott Linehan, and that helped the young quarterback have his best game ever.

Now set to face the Washington Redskins in Week 2, we look at the team and make five bold predictions as they look to extend their hot start to the season.
