There are five Jacksonville Jaguars players that must have a good game in Houston on Sunday for the Jags to bounce back in Week 2.

Things did not go well for the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 1. Kansas City scored early and often. The Jaguars lost Nick Foles to injury until November. Jacksonville travels to face the Houston Texans for an early AFC South division tilt in Week 2.

Offensively, the Jaguars were able to move the ball on Sunday. Gardner Minshew played admirably in relief of Foles. Leonard Fournette had several moments that shined but turned over the ball twice. His fumble and inability to catch a swing pass added more fuel to the Kansas City offense.

In Week 2, Houston has an explosive offense as well as a tough defense. Deshaun Watson is a very mobile quarterback that must be contained inside the pocket. Former Jaguars running back Carlos Hyde led the Texans in his Monday night debut with 83 rushing yards.

The Jaguars defense must regroup from the debacle on Sunday. Most of all, Myles Jack must control his emotions after being ejected for throwing a punch. He must realize that he will be targeted by Houston to see if he loses his cool again.

If the Jaguars want to make a statement on Sunday, they must play within themselves. They have the reputation of being edgy. Here is the first guy that must shine in Week 2.
