NFL Week 2: Ranking the best games to watch on Sunday
By Dan Parzych
1. Rams vs. Saints
Week 2 will be filled with plenty of intense battles, but it’s going to be difficult to top what is expected to take place Sunday afternoon when the Los Angeles Rams and New Orleans Saints meet for the first time since the NFC Championship.
Defeating the Rams won’t change what took place last winter, but it may help the Saints feel a little better about their current chances in continuing to be a top contender in the NFC.
Then again, Los Angeles could end up with a few advantages working in their way, whether it happens to be New Orleans having to travel, or simply the fact that the Saints are playing on a shorter week.
Either way, if all goes according to plan for both teams in 2019, this could very well turn into an early playoff preview between the Rams and Saints.
The circumstances are a little different this time around due to playing such as Todd Gurley and Cooper Kupp coming off injuries or even Mark Ingram no longer being around. However, when looking at all of the talent both teams have to work with, what’s not to love about this epic NFC matchup between these two playoff contenders?
