Bold predictions for the Jacksonville Jaguars as they come off a tough loss to Kansas City to take on the division rival Houston Texans in Week 2.

After a humiliating defeat to the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 1, the Jacksonville Jaguars have the opportunity to make amends. Honestly, not many people thought Jacksonville would be able to defeat the explosive Chiefs in Week 1. Jacksonville needs to bounce back as they play the next game, especially against an AFC South foe in the Houston Texans.

Both teams lost their first games. Houston lost on a long field goal in New Orleans. The Texans defense allowed New Orleans to drive down the field in the final minute to kick the game winner.

Rookie quarterback Gardner Minshew will be starting his first NFL game in a hostile environment. Minshew was excellent against Kansas City after the injury to Nick Foles. Houston will, no doubt, blitz him throughout the game though.

The road to the playoffs starts with winning the AFC South. Jacksonville must win each divisional matchup. Their playoff journey begins in Houston on Sunday. How will they bounce back after their devastating loss in week 1?

Expect Myles Jack to fully redeem himself in Houston. Expect a different attitude from the Jaguars. You have to think that Doug Marrone put his foot down on all the foolish penalties. Let’s hope he did!

Here is the first bold prediction for the Jaguars game in Houston.
