1. The Saints beat the Rams by more than 10 points

The final prediction for the Saints in Week 2 was a little bit tough especially with how well they orchestrated their comeback last week. While it was impressive, the team shouldn’t have been in that situation in the first place. This week, the team needs to set the pace early and keep hold of their lead instead of playing tug-of-war with the other team to gain control.

I predict that the Saints will beat the Rams by 10 points or more. The last time they met in the regular season, the Saints outscored them by 10, resulting in a 45-35 score. No doubt, it was a high-scoring game for both teams but the Saints came out on top. As previously mentioned, the “no-call” from the playoffs still lingers amidst this game and the Saints want a chance to show that they’re better than the Rams.

In besting the Rams, the team can finally put that chapter behind them and move forward to this year’s playoffs. Even though the Saints try to play it off, there’s no doubt that this game means a little bit more than the others. It’s going to be a great game but eventually, the Saints are going to take the lead and not give it up.

As for a scoring breakdown, Brees will throw for four touchdowns while Lutz will kick at least two field goals. While an interception will kill their momentum, the Saints know how to regroup and get the odds back in their favor. If the Saints can get an early lead and keep that lead, then they should have nothing to worry about.
