Andrew Thomas. 5. player. 32. . OT. Arizona Cardinals

If nothing else, the Kyler MurrayKliff Kingsbury experiment with the Arizona Cardinals is going to be exceptionally entertaining. However, to make it fully effective, Murray needs better protection. As such, the Red Birds add Andrew Thomas from Georgia here, a player that can step out of Athens and into the desert and start right away, likely doing so to great success.

. CB. Detroit Lions. Paulson Adebo. 6. player. 50

Matt Patricia and the Detroit Lions made big moves this offseason to try and help the defense, most notably adding Trey Flowers in free agency. The secondary, however, needs some help. Stanford cornerback Paulson Adebo is the best player at the position in this class, though, and is there for the Lions to take. An all-around player ready to play right away, Detroit gets a stud in Adebo.

52. . S. Jacksonville Jaguars. Grant Delpit. 7. player

This feels too obvious with the way the board has fallen in this 2020 NFL Mock Draft. If you put a great defensive talent on the board and have them fall to the Jacksonville Jaguars, they’re going to take them. Thus, the Jags select Grant Delpit from LSU here, a generational talent at safety. The good news for Jacksonville is that he actually adds some help at a position of need for this loaded defense.

8. player. 30. . EDGE. New York Jets. A.J. Epenesa

For the love of everything holy, the New York Jets need to draft an edge rusher. Seeing their lack of pass rush at the position is getting tiresome. Thus, they get A.J. Epenesa out of Iowa here. A movable piece that may not be a natural 3-4 outside linebacker, the Hawkeye is a beast with the athleticism and strength to adjust and succeed and finally answer a major question that has persisted for Gang Green.
