Following the New England Patriots’ blowout victory over the Miami Dolphins in Week 2 of the regular season, here are three Patriots standouts from the win.

After putting together a dominant performance against the Pittsburgh Steelers to open up the 2019 NFL regular-season opener last Sunday in Foxborough, the New England Patriots returned to action in Week 2 on Sunday and put together yet another impressive showing.

The Patriots once again proved to everyone why they should be considered Super Bowl favorites this season on Sunday afternoon against the Miami Dolphins, cruising to their second straight victory to begin the year by defeating the struggling Dolphins 43-0 in Miami, Florida.

New England took it to Miami early and often in the contest, jumping out to an early lead while not looking back and shutting down the Dolphins throughout the course of the entire game.

The Patriots jumped out to a 13-0 lead in the first half, pouring it on in the second half by scoring 10 more points in the third quarter and putting up a 20-spot in the fourth to win by 43 over an AFC East opponent.

Coming into the game as 18.5-point favorites, which was the largest projected margin of victory throughout the entire NFL during the Week 2 slate of games, New England didn’t disappoint en route to yet another dominating victory.

So far this season, the Patriots have outscored their opponents 76-3 through two weeks of play.

With the win, New England improves to a perfect 2-0 overall on the year to once again sit atop the AFC East. The Patriots will return home next week in the third week of the regular season to host the New York Jets in another divisional showdown at noon on Sunday at Gillette Stadium.

With the loss, Miami drops to 0-2 overall on the season as it looks to still grab its first win of the year in 2019. The Dolphins will try to regroup in Week 3 when they travel to take on the Dallas Cowboys at noon in Dallas.

Following the Patriots’ impressive performance once again in Week 2 in Miami on Sunday afternoon, let’s take a look back at three standout performers in the win for New England to help it remain undefeated advancing into the third week of the season.
