2. Plenty of weapons on offense to work with

Moving on from Antonio Brown during the offseason was a difficult decision for the Steelers since despite how much of a headache the wideout could be, his talent alone gave Pittsburgh a huge advantage on offense.

However, it should be noted that Pittsburgh never would have made the decision to move on from Brown the way they did if the team didn’t feel confident in the rest of the weapons on offense for Roethlisberger or another quarterback to work with.

While James Conner‘s injury from Sunday’s loss will hopefully turn out to only be minor, there are still plenty of other great weapons for Rudolph to work with, whether it happens to be Jaylen Samuels stepping up or JuJu Smith-Schuster proving his value at wide receiver.

There have been numerous times over the years in which certain players have benefitted from Roethlisberger making them better as an individual player, and now is the perfect time for some of them to step up even more.

Pittsburgh has always been one of those teams with the potential to have a high-powered offense each year, and while the loss of Roethlisberger may seem like the unit will take a step back, all the Steelers need is a quarterback to rely on.
