There may not have been a more impressive performance on either the Packers or Vikings than what defensive tackle Kenny Clark showed on Sunday. Though Clark and the Packers defense gave up a huge 75-yard run to Vikings running back Dalvin Cook early, Clark’s presence in the middle was felt the whole game.

Clark was a huge reason Kirk Cousins was under duress for most of the contest. According to Pro Football Focus on Twitter, he logged seven quarterback pressures, while the Packers defense as a whole finished with 28 pressures. Officially, Clark finished the game with two tackles, a forced fumble, one sack and two quarterback hits.

A big reason Clark didn’t finish with more tackles is that he was constantly seeing double teams. Not to mention the fact that the Vikings were usually trying to run a play to the opposite side of where he was. But in the end, it didn’t matter, as Clark affected the game no matter where he was.

Part of Clark’s big day can also be credited to going up against Vikings rookie center Garrett Bradbury, who allowed five pressures himself. That said, Clark is a star in the making, and it wouldn’t be surprising to see him sign a contract extension sometime soon.
