Our NFL Power Rankings for Week 3 of the 2019 season have some subtle movements as teams like the Dallas Cowboys and Baltimore Ravens continue to shine

Week 2 of the 2019 season is rolling to an end as this weekend of football action brought us a lot of fun. There were 10 games played early on Sunday which helped us get the bad taste of an ugly Thursday Night Football game between the Carolina Panthers and Tampa Bay Buccaneers out of our mouths.

Two teams that really stood out during that slate of games were the Dallas Cowboys and Baltimore Ravens. These teams entered the season with questions about their respective quarterbacks as Lamar Jackson was being called a running back and Dak Prescott was being laughed at for trying to secure elite quarterback money.

Both had great games in Week 1 and then followed that up with explosive outings this weekend as well. For Prescott, he shrugged off a slow start against the Washington Redskins to lead the Boys to a 2-0 start with each win coming in the NFC East. He now has seven touchdowns in the first two games as he silenced critics such as Josh Norman of the Redskins, who said anyone could have had the success he did in Week 1 thanks to the Cowboys blocking.

Jackson also finds himself with seven touchdowns as he threw two on Sunday which adds to the five he had to kick off the season. He added 120 yards rushing as well as he’s one of the more dangerous dual threats at this point in the season.

On a less positive note, though, the New Orleans Saints saw veteran star quarterback Drew Brees leave their loss against the Los Angeles Rams early with a hand injury. The offense struggled without Brees at the helm and his immediate outlook remains uncertain as he reportedly couldn’t grip the football on Sunday afternoon.

Those games, and many more shifted our NFL Power Rankings for Week 3, which we kick off here starting with a team that doesn’t seem to be trying to win too hard right now.
