24. Buffalo Bills (24)

Surely there weren’t many who thought the Buffalo Bills would start out 2-0, but that’s exactly what they’ve done in 2019. They played consecutive games in East Rutherford, New Jersey as the only team really located in New York won back-to-back games against the Jets and Giants.

After a 14-point fourth-quarter led them to a one-point win over Gang Green, they went out in Week 2 and had a much more convincing win against the Giants. After falling behind 7-0 early as Saquon Barkley ran in a touchdown, the Bills reeled off four-straight touchdowns to take a decided 28-7 lead.

The ageless Frank Gore ran in a touchdown as did rookie running back Devin Singletary and Josh Allen. The polarizing signal-caller finished with 21 yards rushing in addition to his 253 yards passing — but more importantly, he didn’t turn the ball over while adding a throwing touchdown to the one he scored with his legs.

Buffalo’s defense also continues to play hard as they picked off Eli Manning twice and forced a fumble as well, although that was recovered by Kevin Zeitler.

The AFC East is going to be controlled by New England, as it always is. That doesn’t mean the Bills can’t make some noise and fight for a wild card spot and they’re off to a solid start in that endeavor.
