15. Atlanta Falcons (20)

The Atlanta Falcons moved to 1-1 with a huge, and exciting win over the Philadelphia Eagles. Despite playing at home, they were underdogs especially after their poor outing the week prior against the Minnesota Vikings. This week, they looked much better, especially on defense — but they were far from perfect.

The good in the game included Julio Jones racking up 106 yards and two touchdowns — including the game-winning 54-yard reception — and Calvin Ridley adding 105 yards and another touchdown. There was also Desmond Trufant taking two passes away and the defensive line harassing Carson Wentz all night.

As for the ugly, Matt Ryan made some terrible throws which included three interceptions. The worst was when they were up by five points and near the goal line. He threw an ill-advised pass that wound up in the hands of linebacker Nathan Gerry.

That opened the door for the Eagles to take the lead but Atlanta fought back as Jones broke free for the game-winning score. The defense then held, with cornerback Isaiah Oliver making a sensational tackle on tight end Zach Ertz which stopped him inches short of a first down as the Eagles tried to steal the win.

Matt Ryan said on the broadcast after the game they had a long way to go, which is true. But 1-1 is a lot better than 0-2.
