3. Baltimore Ravens (3)

The Lamar Jackson era is off to an amazing start. After taking over for Joe Flacco last season, he went 6-1 and took the Baltimore Ravens to the playoffs with that second-half surge. They knew he would be the face of the franchise eventually, but there weren’t many who thought he could take over and be so successful so quickly.

Now, he’s added two more wins as they were able to beat up on the Miami Dolphins in Week 1 and then held on for a six-point win over the Arizona Cardinals this week. More impressively, Jackson continues his hot-streak of throwing the ball deep as he had 272 yards passing with two touchdowns and no picks — which gives him seven touchdown passes without an interception to start the season.

His favorite targets have been second-year tight end Mark Andrews who had 112 yards and a touchdown this week and rookie Marquise Brown who went for 86 yards on eight receptions to continue his hot start to the year. Jackson also added 120 yards rushing as he continues to be a force when he decides to take off and run.

Next week will be a huge test for them as they take on Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs, who are one of the toughest teams in the NFL. They’ll be a tougher challenge than Miami and Arizona. Should they continue to perform this well against the Chiefs, it should silence any remaining doubters.
