2. Ron Rivera

Hosting the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at home in Week 2 was supposed to be a favorable win for Ron Rivera and the Carolina Panthers, especially after coming up just short the previous week against the Los Angeles Rams.

Last year, the Panthers seemed to be on their way to a playoff berth following a 6-2 start, only to come up short after only winning once during their final eight games.

Even more frustrating for Carolina, that lone win came during a Week 17 battle against the New Orleans Saints when the NFC South champions were resting most of their starters to be ready for the playoffs, meaning that win was far from impressive.

This alone is one of many reasons behind Rivera finding his name on the hot seat numerous times throughout his coaching career with the Panthers, and while the head coach may enjoy his odds for Week 3 against the Arizona Cardinals, this is the last team to sleep on.

Looking at how the Cardinals have played better than expected over the first two weeks, Kyler Murray could make things way more complicated for the Panthers, putting even more pressure on Rivera when it comes to keeping his job secure.
