9. 49ers keep Steelers winless

Remember all of the hype surrounding the San Francisco 49ers last season to emerge as a surprise Super Bowl contender in the NFC?

Obviously, Jimmy Garoppolo suffering a torn ACL played a major role in this failing to happen for the 49ers, but the quarterback has looked sharp early on for San Francisco.

Through two games, Garoppolo seems to finally have the 49ers in great position to live up to the hype in 2019, and the best part is both of the team’s wins have come on the road so far.

With San Francisco set to host the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday for their home opener, all eyes will be on Garoppolo to see if he can help the 49ers improve to 3-0.

Facing a desperate team like the winless Steelers is going to be another difficult challenge for San Francisco, but also this is the perfect opportunity to show once again they are in fact the real deal from a contending standpoint.

Also, as great as Garoppolo has looked at times through two games, the 49ers’ defense deserves just as much credit for their impressive play, and seem up for the challenge in Week 3 that comes with taking down the Steelers.
