6. Jones, Ridley combine for four touchdowns

One can only imagine how much pressure Dan Quinn would have been dealing with this week if the Atlanta Falcons fell at home to the Philadelphia Eagles, but at least it’s a non-issue since they won.

Talent wise, there’s every reason in the world to believe the Falcons can earn one of the playoff spots in the NFC playoff picture, but also last year was the perfect example of how nothing is guaranteed when it comes to the NFL.

If Atlanta fails to come through in the games they’re favored to win, this team could very well end up in a similar position as last year when they end up missing out on the playoffs.

As for Sunday’s contest, the Falcons will face another tough challenge on the road when taking on the Indianapolis Colts, who are coming off a big win of their own in Week 2 after taking down the Tennessee Titans.

While the Colts’ defense has shown major improvement dating back to last season, the Falcons are still loaded with plenty of talent to give the unit trouble.

Matt Ryan having Julio Jones and Calvin Ridley as two of his top options to work with in the passing game almost seems unfair for any opponents, and no matter how much the Colts try to stop these two in check, they could be out of luck.
