16. Sanders extends touchdown streak to three games

The first two games have certainly been rough for the Denver Broncos since expectations were high for this team after replacing Case Keenum with Joe Flacco, but the good news is they have plenty of time to turn things around.

With the defense led by Von Miller always appearing to be in great shape, the inconsistent play on offense always seemed to be holding the Broncos from being true contenders in the AFC, which is where Flacco came into play.

For most of his career, whether Flacco deserves to be in the elite category has been one of the most popular topics of discussion, and the pressure is on for the former Super Bowl MVP to show there’s still plenty of gas left in that old tank.

Luckily for Flacco, Emmanuel Sanders is showing early signs of being the reliable target needed for the Broncos quarterback by finding the end zone in each of his first two games to show there is hope for this offense in 2019.

With a meeting against an improved defense in the Green Bay Packers scheduled for Week 3, Flacco will need Sanders to continue being reliable, or Denver could be looking at 0-3 to start the season with a tough road ahead.
