NFL Week 3, 2019: 5 Teams on upset alert
By Dan Parzych
3. Buffalo Bills
Do the Buffalo Bills have what it takes to eventually earn a trip to the playoffs for a second time in three seasons? After only two weeks, the Bills clearly still have a long way to go to show the rest of the NFL they are in fact the real deal, but the best approach for Buffalo to take is focus on one game at a time.
During Week 3, Buffalo gets to host a Cincinnati Bengals team that is still in search of their first win in 2019 after suffering a brutal loss last Sunday to the San Francisco 49ers.
On paper, there’s every reason to believe the Bills will be able to get by in this one, and extend that impressive record to 3-0, but also similar to the Pittsburgh Steelers, the Bengals are on the verge of desperation mode.
The last thing that Cincinnati can afford to do is fall to 0-3 under Zac Taylor since the new head coach was supposed to help this offense reach a new level with Marvin Lewis officially out of the picture.
Playing on the road in Buffalo with that rowdy fan base is never an easy task, but if the pressure gets to the Bills to remain undefeated, the Bengals could use this to their advantage come Sunday.
