3. Henry continues to feast on Jaguars

The last time that Derrick Henry faced the Jacksonville Jaguars, the running back had by far the best day of his career. On 17 carries, Henry burned the Jaguars for 238 yards and an incredible four touchdowns. Among those scores was a blistering 99-yard touchdown run that was just devastating for the Jaguars defense. Henry propelled the Titans to a 30-9 victory in that game.

One week ago as the Jaguars faced the Houston Texans, the defense was strong against the pass but was shockingly ineffective against the run. Despite the fact that Houston’s offensive line is lackluster and that they only have Carlos Hyde and Duke Johnson in the backfield, the Texans still gave 26 carries to their running backs for 121 yards. The week prior, LeSean McCoy and Damien Williams combined for 23 carries and 107 yards and a touchdown.

At the same time, Henry has been running strong to start the 2019 season, even with the offensive line not performing particularly well. Through two games, he’s averaging 4.9 yards per carry while taking 34 totes for 166 yards and two touchdowns.

This game is going to be a slowed-down affair where the run game is in focus. And while Henry isn’t likely to go off for a 99-yarder again, he’s going to have a big day. After 60 minutes of play, the Titans running back should have a 120-yard day and at least one trip into the end zone to his credit.
