1. Titans dominate and win by double-digits

The Tennessee Titans have won their last four meetings with the rival Jacksonville Jaguars. Put simply, they have a blueprint on how to beat this AFC South foe and have executed it quite well over the past two years. And as they meet on Thursday Night Football in Week 3, the Titans are going to push that streak to five games with a dominant outing.

Mariota has yet to take the full leap forward that Titans fans are hoping he will. And while I believe that he will throw at least one interception in this game, he’s never been a turnover-prone quarterback. His ability to limit mistakes will come in handy against the Jaguars pass rush in this game, especially in relation to what the Titans can potentially do to Minshew.

As fun of a story as Minshew is and, despite the talent the late-round rookie does possess, he’s a limited quarterback and fell in the draft for a reason. And Tennessee defense has the right pieces in place as an overall underrated unit to exploit the inefficiencies of the current Jaguars starting quarterback and force him into mistakes. With Leonard Fournette continuing to look limited overall, it’s hard to imagine much success for Jacksonville’s offense.

With Henry able to continue to be effective and keep the Jags defense honest, the Titans just have the better recipe for victory in this matchup. They’ll go on the road in Week 3 and own their division rivals with a gritty, defensive-minded effort that will push them to a decisive victory.
