4. Hollywood Brown burns weak Chiefs secondary

In his first NFL game, Marquise Brown lit the world on fire as no one on the Dolphins defense had a prayer of keeping up with the rookie. He finished that game with only four catches but those receptions went for a blistering 147 yards and two touchdowns. However, the sneaky truth was that Brown played limited snaps and was only targeted five times, thus bringing into question his true role in the offense.

Such questions were eliminated last week against the Cardinals though as Brown essentially doubled the number of snaps that he played while also continuing to get work and producing. Brown led the Ravens in targets with 13 and ended the victory with eight catches for 86 yards. He showed that he’s not just a home run threat but a dynamic chain-mover as well.

The not-so-secret truth about the Chiefs, as good as they are overall, is that their defense is severely lacking. That’s especially true as it pertains to their secondary, a group that legitimately had a bad day when sixth-round rookie Gardner Minshew was forced into action against them in Week 1.

With Brown’s game-breaking speed and clearly massive role in this offense, he’s going to be a nightmare for the Kansas City secondary on Sunday afternoon. He’s going to finish the day with at least two catches over 30 yards, at least 150 yards receiving and at least one trip to the end zone, solidifying his place as a true Rookie of the Year candidate in Baltimore.
