3. Kelce hits 150 yards, scores again

So much of the focus around the Kansas City Chiefs offense outside of Mahomes has been focused on the group of wide receivers. In the season-opener, not only did Tyreek Hill go out with an injury but Sammy Watkins had an absolutely monster day at the office, looking poised for a breakout year. Then, in Week 2, Demarcus Robinson replaced Hill for a huge outing.

All the while, Chiefs star tight end Travis Kelce has been just going about his business — that business being showing off as the best tight end in the NFL. Throughout two weeks, Kelce already has 10 catches for 195 yards and a touchdown, including a seven-reception, 107-yard outing against the Raiders last week, the game in which he found the end zone for the first time this year.

Traditionally, you might not think of the Ravens as a good matchup for a player like Kelce. After all, they have a rich tradition of great linebackers. And while they do have Earl Thomas in tow, they aren’t as set up to stop a player like Kelce as they have been in years past. With injuries limiting some of the weapons in KC, that spells a big game for the Chiefs tight end.

Kelce is going to be the most targeted weapon for Mahomes in this game and he’s going to feast. He will not only have his best game of the season to date but he will dwarf his previous numbers. After 60 minutes, the big man will have at least 150 yards on the day and at least one more touchdown to his credit.
