Ideal FanDuel NFL DFS lineup for Week 3

When trying to comprise my best FanDuel lineup for Week 3, I want my picks to have one of two things — particularly if you’re going to play in tournaments: Either 1. a great workload is inevitable and the talent matches up with that for a big game, or 2. a great matchup and circumstances dictate a potential breakout performance.

With that in mind, let’s take a look at my FanDuel NFL lineup for DFS play in Week 3:

QB: Lamar Jackson, $8,500
RB: Christian McCaffrey, $8,800
RB: Dalvin Cook, $8,300
WR: Kenny Golladay, $7,000
WR: Marquise Brown, $6,100
WR: Devin Smith, $5,200
TE: Darren Waller, $5,900
FLEX: Nelson Agholor, $4,800
DEF: Dallas Cowboys, $5,000
Remaining Budget: $300

With $300 in the remaining budget, there are some tweaks that could well be made to this lineup. You could actually save $100 by putting in Ezekiel Elliott over McCaffrey but I love the Panthers running back with a backup quarterback helming the offense too much.

In Week 3, there’s a ton of value at wide receiver, which I’m trying to take advantage of. Brown and Smith are two of my favorite plays this week, two guys that are in great position to make big plays given their matchup and also the situation that they find themselves in.

The tight end spot with Waller is perhaps the place I’m least confident but his workload so far calms my nerves and leads me to believe that he’ll get enough work in a depleted offense to keep this lineup performing steadily in whatever contest you play in.
