The Green Bay Packers look to keep their perfect record alive as they welcome the Broncos to Lambeau. Bold predictions for Aaron Rodgers and co. in Week 3.

There was no denying that the Green Bay Packers had an aggressive offseason as they approached the 2019 NFL season. They made immense improvements on the defensive side of the ball in hopes of becoming a more complete football team that didn’t need Aaron Rodgers to save them time and again. The question, though, was if it would pay off.

While we’re only two games into the new campaign, it certainly seems as if things are trending in that direction for the Packers. They stifled the Bears completely in Week 1, allowing just three points, and then dominated the Vikings last week to the tune of a 21-16 victory in a game that was not as close as the final score may lead you to believe.

Now at 2-0 to begin the year, the Packers head to Lambeau Field in Week 3 to host the Denver Broncos, now led by a familiar face in former Chicago defensive coordinator Vic Fangio. The Broncos enter this game with an 0-2 record, having lost to the Raiders in Week 1 and then suffering a heartbreaking defeat at home against the Bears last week.

The Packers have not only enjoyed a defensive breakout with their retooled unit on that side of the ball but Matt LaFleur has a new brand of offense as the new head coach. Running back Aaron Jones finally looks on the cusp of breaking out in a real way and they haven’t yet had to unleash Rodgers on the offensive side of the ball. That bodes well for Green Bay moving forward.

On the topic of this Week 3 matchup for Green Bay, though, let’s take a look at how they will fare against the Broncos in a quest to stay unbeaten on the year. To do so, let’s make five bold predictions for the Green Bay Packers on Sunday.
