1. Green Bay rides wave to easy victory

It would be great to see former Bears defensive coordinator Vic Fangio put the clamps on the Green Bay Packers in Week 3 and give Denver their first win of the year — that’s just a good story, especially considering that the Pack are 2-0 coming into this matchup. However, the stars are aligning in a way where I just can’t see that happening.

As good as the Broncos defense is, where their best matches up well with what the Packers are capable of up front. Bryan Bulaga and David Bakhtiari are elite tackles in the NFL, which means they should be able to largely keep both Bradley Chubb and Von Miller at bay for the majority of this game. Furthermore, Green Bay now has a balanced offense that can keep the Broncos guessing.

Perhaps more importantly, though, I have immense faith in what the Packers defense has shown through the first two weeks of the season. They look like they may well be among the best units on that side of the ball in the entire league. And when you put that up against a still-shaky offensive line and Joe Flacco, that could be a tough day for Denver on the road.

Ultimately, the Packers defense should control this game and the offense has enough horses in the stables to get points on the board. When it’s all said and done, Green Bay should move to 3-0 on the 2019 season and win by double-digits at Lambeau Field on Sunday.
